Despite belonging to Aspire Trust we are a Local Authority school, and follows the admissions arrangements laid out in the Southampton City Council Admission Policy.

We have a published admission number of 60 children into our Year R cohort (Reception age).  If you would like your child to attend our school, please read our school prospectus and see full details of our admission arrangements below.

In Year Admissions

If a child starts with us once the school year has already begun, we ensure that they are assigned a buddy to help ease and support them into life at Bassett Green. A welcome booklet is provided and a school tour will be arranged to help children and parents/carers feel confident about moving schools.
